Rua Music by Klesia - Intellectual Property Policy
1. About This Policy
This Intellectual Property Policy outlines how Rua Music by Klesia handles claims of intellectual property infringement on our platforms, including our websites, applications, and services ("Rua Music Services"). We own all the music on our platform and do not license music from others. Rua Music respects intellectual property rights and expects all users to do the same. Users must comply with these Guidelines, as well as all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, and respect the intellectual property, privacy, and other rights of others.
2. Copyright
Understanding Copyright
Copyright is a legal protection granted to the creators of original works of authorship, such as music, artwork, and books. It gives the copyright owner the exclusive rights to use the work in certain ways, including copying, distributing, and displaying it. Copyright protects the expression of ideas, but not the ideas themselves. It generally does not protect things like names, titles, or slogans, which may be covered under trademark law instead.
Reporting Copyright Infringement
If you believe that any content available on Rua Music Services infringes your copyrighted work, you can submit a notice of alleged copyright infringement. The notice should include:
A specific identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
A detailed description of where the allegedly infringing material is located on the Rua Music Services (please include a URL).
Your contact information, including your full name, address, telephone number, and email address.
A statement that you have a good faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law (such as fair use).
A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.

3. Trademark
Understanding Trademark
A trademark is a sign capable of distinguishing the goods or services of one enterprise from those of other enterprises. It can include words, slogans, symbols, or designs. Trademark law helps prevent confusion among consumers about who provides a product or service.
Reporting Trademark Infringement
If you believe that content on Rua Music Services infringes your trademark rights, you can submit a notice of alleged trademark infringement. Rua Music may share your contact information with the allegedly infringing party and retain it for legal purposes. We also have a policy to terminate the accounts of repeat infringers when necessary.
4. How We Handle Claims
Rua Music reviews all claims received through the designated channels. Upon receiving a claim, we assess it and take appropriate action, which may include removing the reported content or restricting access to it. We may communicate with both the claimant and the user or creator who provided the content regarding the actions taken, or if more information is needed.
If your content or account has been mistakenly actioned, or if you wish to request another review of our decision, you may appeal. Instructions for appealing will be provided in our email correspondence regarding the claim.
Rua Music uses a combination of automated and manual methods to detect and remove content that may infringe on intellectual property rights. We are committed to continuously improving our efforts to protect creators' intellectual property.
